This is a Quality solid Walnut Desk, often referred to as a writers desk.

I acquired this at an estate sale and it needed some TLC.
I refurbished the piece which included re-gluing pieces securely and square. It’s now a sturdy desk!
The insides of the drawers have also been finished which give it an additional touch of class.

As you can see by the pictures the back of the desk is also finished so it can work as a center piece if desired.
The large drawer at the bottom has built-in dividers which can be very handy.
I removed the original finish and sanded it carefully. I then applied 2 coats of dark quality stain and a top coat of professional furniture wax that was buffed out for a beautiful sheen and ultra smooth finish.
